High Holy Days

Our High Holy Days are filled with an abundance of joy, reflection, and connection. We worship in person and online, creating a sense of shared time and purpose. Rabbi Michael Mayersohn and Soloist Arielle Martingale (Goldfarb) will be leading the services.

Selichot: Saturday, September 5
Rosh Hashanah: Friday, September 11-Saturday, September 12
Yom Kippur: Sunday, September 20-Monday, September 21
Sukkot: begins Friday, September 25
Simchat Torah: Friday, October 2

High Holy Days Appeal
We are always grateful for your generous support, so we can continue our sacred work as a community. Go to tbolm.org to make a donation. Search for ‘Donations for High Holy Days’.

FOR MEMBERS:
In Person: All member families, in good standing, will receive in-person service tickets with their HHD packet in the mail. Members may attend all services and programs.
Online: visit our YouTube channel for upcoming live streams, Temple Beth Ohr of La Mirada – YouTube.

Members who wish to purchase additional tickets for friends/family ($50 per adult):

  1. Please visit the Donate page of the TBO website – tbolm.org
  2. Choose donation type “Donation for tickets for Immediate family”
  3. Include the full names and email addresses of your guests in the “Payment Notes” box

FOR NON-MEMBERS:
In person: Guest tickets ($250 per adult) may be purchased via our High Holy Day In-Person Guest Ticket form.
— Yizkor services on Yom Kippur are free and open to the community (no ticket necessary). ID is required.
Online: Guests may join us online without charge (although a donation is suggested).

High Holy Day Prayer Books
If you would like to purchase your own set of Mishkan HaNefesh, the prayer books we use for the High Holy Days, they may be purchased through the CCAR Press. We will also have a limited number of books to lend out.
