TEMPLE BETH OHR GENERAL FUND
Financially supports all the operations of Temple Beth Ohr. The General Fund is used to pay for:

DIANE & MICHAEL GLOBERMAN BUILDING IMPROVEMENT FUND
The Globerman Building Improvement Fund was created in 2019 by Michael and Diane Globerman. This fund gives the Temple Board additional financial resources to enhance the Temple Beth Ohr’s physical structure, safety and security.
KOTKIN EDUCATION FUND
The Kotkin Education Fund was established by Doug & Joann Kotkin and their family to provide financial support to the activities and programs of the Temple Beth Ohr Religious School and Hebrew Lab.
PASKUS MEMORIAL FUND
The Paskus Memorial Fund was established by Eileen Mignella in memory of her parents, Bob and Sandra Paskus as well her brother, Stephen Paskus and sister, Leslie Paskus-Amador. Supports our High Holy Day and general music as well as building beautification.
SAFETY & SECURITY FUND
The Temple Beth Ohr Safety & Security Fund provides financial assistance to maintain and upgrade the safety and security features of Temple Beth Ohr.
HELD HOUSE FUND
The Held House Fund was created in 2017 by Sheri Held. This fund gives the Temple Board additional financial resources to enhance Temple Beth Ohr’s building as well as grounds.
MAE SALINGER FUND
The Mae Salinger Youth Enrichment Fund supports Jewish-based education and enrichment programs.
CAROLE E. SHERMAN MEMORIAL FUND
The Carole E. Sherman Fund was established in memory of Carole Sherman, Board member and past-president of Temple Beth Ohr by her family and provides financial support to projects that enhance Temple Beth Ohr.
EMILIO URCIS MEMORIAL EDUCATION FUND
The Emilio Urcis Education Fund was established by Ellie Urcis in memory of her husband Emilio and provides financial assistance to the Temple Beth Ohr Religious School and Hebrew Lab
LOU ZUCKER MEMORIAL COLLEGE EDUCATION FUND
The Lou Zucker Memorial College Education Fund was established in memory of Lou Zucker by Lou’s family, wife Evelyn and daughter Shary Bithell. The fund provides a $500 scholarship to any Temple Beth Ohr high school graduating senior who is admitted to a two or four year college program.
Lou Zucker was a member of the Temple Beth Ohr Board and past-president of our congregation. In addition, and what he is known for most, is that Lou was a long-time teacher in our Religious School. For our Religious School students, and fellow teachers, Lou was a TBO institution. Our students always felt empowered by Mr. Zucker to question and to share their opinions. Lou reached out all of our students, treating each student with respect and dignity. Lou died in October of 2012.
RABBI GOLDFARB’S DISCRETIONARY FUND
Provides support to the Temple, community organizations, as well as food for the hungry, shelter for the homeless, and aid to those in need.
